Scottish Country Dancing
Scottish country dance is an energetic social dance form related to contra dancing (see the "What is Scottish Country Dance?" Page or our Demonstration Dance Page). This is not Scottish Highland Dance, rather, it is a social dance done in groups. Danced all throughout the world, the basic steps and formations are easy to learn. You don't need to be Scottish to join us!
The San Diego Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) holds classes and events throughout the year for dancers of all levels. See our Dance With Us Page for class information or for visiting from out-of-town. We welcome you to our group! See our Branch Events Page for event information, both local and out-of-town.
You may now pay for classes using PayPal (click here), or using Venmo (click here). Alternatively, membership, cash donations and ordering dance books can be managed through our RSCDS Shop (click here). Finally, logo items such as shirts, water bottles and more can be ordered through our Virtual RedBubble Store (click here).
