Scottish country dance is an exciting and energetic social dance form (see our "What Is Scottish Country Dance?" Page). As a branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society in Scotland (RSCDS.org), we are proud to be the home of Scottish Country Dancing in San Diego.
RSCDS San Diego promotes Scottish Country Dancing in San Diego. Membership info is on our Membership Page! We are a branch of RSCDS.org in Scotland, and we work with the Orange County Branch, the Los Angeles Branch and the San Gabriel Valley Branch to support the dancing throughout Southern California.
If you'd like to join us, we typically dance in Balboa Park on Mondays and Fridays, and in Poway on Tuesdays. See the Dance With Us page for information on classes, and our Events Page for other dance events. If you would like to learn to dance Scottish, or are an experienced dancer (both locals and out-of-town guests), we welcome you to join.
Please visit the Contact Page for more information or visit one of the sections listed below to find out more about our branch. Specifically, you can visit our Membership page, find our Board of Directors, learn about our Teachers and see our Branch Dances (many of our favorites and some written by members.)
